   why, because the male ego is at stake. The issue is not necassarily with the male and female opponents it is the perception from society. A lot people today are stuck in the stone ages and are hesitant to accept a superior female, unless she is built like man. So, I do not think people are paying attention to wrestling, but instead the opponents physical differences and that can be blinding.

    I am not a grappler, but as an experiment I went up against a female Jiu jitsu expert to see how effective such martial art would be against a much stronger and heavier opponent like me who is untrained. I was really amazed as the woman toyed with me like I was a toddler for about an hour and submitted me at will whenever she wanted to.
